Job Description
The role involves leading product management for Esri's ArcGIS Instant Apps, focusing on developing and enhancing web-based GIS applications, including AI features, by understanding customer needs, defining product strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative geographic data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the product vision, strategy, and priorities for ArcGIS Instant Apps and AI features.
- Monitor and synthesize customer requirements, prioritize them, and communicate with the development team.
- Document customer interviews and product requirements in alignment with product management processes.
- Maintain expertise on current capabilities, technology, market demand, and competition.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on marketing materials, product launches, and communication strategies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with global partners and distributors.
- Develop and present product demonstrations and messaging to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical or product-related role such as product management, product engineering, technical support, or sales engineering
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in presentations
- Active listening skills and curiosity about others' work, experience, and perspective
- Ability to accurately translate customers' business needs, technical needs, and existing workflows into actionable requirements and problems-to-solve
- Passion for continuous improvement
- Patience to work within a dynamic working environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations by relying on professional judgment without direct oversight
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or business
