Job Description
The ArcGIS Spatial Analyst role involves developing and enhancing raster analysis tools within the ArcGIS software, translating customer needs into functional solutions, and contributing to product design, testing, and educational content to advance geographic data analysis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve raster analysis tools for ArcGIS products.
- Translate customer requirements into functional specifications and product enhancements.
- Test and validate GIS functionalities, user interfaces, workflows, and APIs.
- Create technical documentation, blogs, and educational materials for ArcGIS users.
- Participate in defining the product vision, roadmap, and future features for raster analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, environmental science, engineering, geography, GIS, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Programming skills in Python or similar languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively
- Proven ability to complete tasks on time with minimal guidance in a fast-changing environment
- Ability and aptitude to learn new skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about making a difference
- Proven ability to work in a team
