Job Description
The Product Engineer Defense Solutions at Esri develops and supports geospatial solutions tailored for defense agencies, collaborating with customers and teams to design, configure, and improve industry-specific GIS applications and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover customer needs and develop geospatial solutions for defense agencies
- Configure ArcGIS applications, tools, and information models for industry-specific use cases
- Contribute to product design to ensure usability and a positive customer experience
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define and develop solutions
- Draft and review product briefs, presentations, and documentation
- Design and execute test cases for functionality, performance, scalability, and durability
- Analyze test results and report findings
- Assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing solutions
- Present and promote solutions to internal and external audiences
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the defense industry along with experience in applying ArcGIS to support specific industry workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to document and build GIS workflows.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $76,960 - $128,544 USD
Work schedule: Minimum of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the year
