Job Description
The role involves supporting and developing geospatial data quality tools within the ArcGIS platform, collaborating with developers, testing software, and providing technical assistance to ensure high-quality spatial data solutions for various clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers to build high-quality, robust software
- Contribute to product design, testing, documentation, and demonstrations
- Provide user support through best practices, documentation, and technical assistance
- Identify and troubleshoot product issues and limitations
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to identify product needs
- Partner with product management and development teams to develop impactful features
- Author automated tests, monitor test results, and perform scripted tasks using Python
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities related to software testing, development, or geospatial data management.
- Proven experience in software testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience using an application development language, such as C , Java or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work on teams of varying size and deliver work within specified time constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS), Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.
