Job Description
This role involves designing, building, testing, and delivering the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise software, focusing on geospatial technologies, API development, and ensuring software quality through automation and troubleshooting in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements for ArcGIS Enterprise software.
- Collaborate with product and development engineers to build new software releases.
- Contribute to the design of server backend and UI development.
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and automate testing processes.
- Review and analyze automated test results to ensure software quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot and triage customer issues related to the software.
- Create help topics, blog articles, tutorials, and samples to share workflows.
- Advocate for user needs in product design and delivery.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience in software testing or software development.
- Experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation for web services.
- Fundamental understanding of APIs and API design principles.
- Fundamental understanding of web services including REST and SOAP.
- Experience working with Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API.
- Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements for the team.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or a related field.

Base salary range estimated between $76,960 and $128,544 USD
