Job Description
Software Reliability Engineers at Esri are responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities of ArcGIS Enterprise by gathering user requirements, testing software, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality geospatial software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and define software reliability and availability requirements from users and internal teams
- Lead cross-team efforts to implement reliability features across all functionalities
- Create, automate, and evaluate software test plans to ensure quality and defect resolution
- Communicate with users through documentation, videos, and presentations to convey reliability features and updates
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years in a position with operational responsibilities, such as monitoring, maintaining, and deploying enterprise software
- Experience in software testing
- Fundamental understanding of web services, such as REST and others
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a complex backend-server stack, preferably with ArcGIS Enterprise
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and applications, math, GIS, geography, or related field
- Existing work authorization for India
