Key Responsibilities
Test software components and their functionality through the user interface and provide usable, informative feedback on user experience
Monitor and analyze test results: collaborate across teams to ensure software quality and release readiness
Work collaboratively with software developers, technical support, and other internal stakeholders to improve existing workflows
Learn existing product technologies and troubleshoot production issues in current and past software platform versions
Document software issues found during testing; reproduce bugs and work closely with Software Development Engineers to resolve these issues
Interface with customers and collect requirements for system functionality or product design
Develop new ideas for modifying and extending our product by learning about and understanding more completely how our users deploy and apply the ArcGIS system
Engage with Esri product management and user communities to synthesize user requirements and needs into product development objectives
Identify user scenarios and best practice approaches for applying ArcGIS
Enhance and contribute to internal and end-user documentation or tutorials by articulating software functionality
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field
One (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupation
Demonstrated experience in C++, DirectX, and 3D Algorithms
