Job Description
A data analyst role within the Product Analytics team, responsible for analyzing product performance data, creating reports and dashboards, developing predictive models, and providing insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Mine and analyze data related to product sales, usage, market segments, and customers to provide insights and recommendations
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to communicate insights and support decision making
- Deploy Power BI reports and optimize their performance for scalability
- Identify and validate the accuracy of product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop custom data models and algorithms for data analysis
- Build forecast and predictive models to aid product management decisions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data analysis requirements and deliver solutions
- Create reports and dashboards to present findings to business and senior leadership teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a data analyst capacity supporting business teams
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate strategic questions into analytics requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt communication style and message based on audience peers, stakeholders, and executives
- Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, or a related field
- Ability to support and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively convey insights and drive decision making
- Ability to deploy Power BI reports and implement performance optimization techniques for performance and scalability
- Ability to identify and validate the accuracy of product’s Key Performance Indicators
- Ability to communicate valuable discoveries to stakeholders
- Ability to develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
- Ability to build forecast and predictive models to support product management decisions
- Ability to collaborate with different internal stakeholders to understand their data analysis requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Experience working with business intelligence and analytical reporting tools
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and tabular data models
- Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL (recommended qualification)
