Job Description
The position involves delivering hands-on GIS training and support to customers, promoting the use of Esri's ArcGIS software, and helping organizations develop sustainable GIS workflows while communicating the strategic impact of GIS technology across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency in ArcGIS software through various formats including in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions.
- Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training and ongoing support to users.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and provide guidance on sustainable GIS practices.
- Promote and facilitate the adoption of ArcGIS across customer organizations by demonstrating its capabilities and customizing solutions.
- Create visualizations and narratives to communicate the impact of GIS and develop engaging content such as case studies and success stories.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities.
- At least five (5) years of experience in ArcGIS Enterprise or Enterprise Geodatabases.
- Two (2) years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Twenty (20) hours of travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year.

- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.

- Compensation/salary range: estimated between $86,320 and $134,160 USD
- Work schedule: 20 hours of travel within the year, supporting 10-15 onsite customer training sessions; up to 40 hours including international travel
