Job Description
Develop and test modern .NET SDKs for ArcGIS Maps, focusing on creating flexible, high-quality APIs and software components for desktop and mobile platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support geolocation applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test modern APIs for ArcGIS Maps SDKs for .NET
- Build software components following industry-standard design patterns and methodologies
- Collaborate with API designers and developers across multiple teams
- Define user requirements and develop applications and APIs for mobile and desktop platforms
- Ensure software meets real-world usage scenarios
- Solve complex problems related to application design, development, and user experience
- Engage in technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the development team
Requirements
- Five (5) years of commercial software development experience.
- Fluent in and passionate about C and .NET programming languages.
- Working knowledge of .NET client application development.
- Familiarity with design patterns such as MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel).
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading in C.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work closely with the team to build quality software in a constantly evolving environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a dynamic, integrated team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, mapping, GIS, or a related field.
