Job Description
This role involves handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and managing inventory processes within the Product Operations Department, supporting order fulfillment, shipping, and production activities in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle materials across multiple functional areas using equipment like forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks
- Prepare and affix labels and documentation to packages, shipments, or pallets
- Assist in truck loading and unloading, ensuring proper staging of finished goods
- Assemble products or materials following instructions and guidance
- Pick and pack materials based on transfer order instructions
- Generate transfer orders and coordinate with Customer Service for order creation and troubleshooting
- Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy
- Enter data into SAP and other computer systems accurately
- Archive paperwork into SAP ERP system using scanners
- Monitor supply consumption and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, order picking, inventory control, or production assembly.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including email, scanners, and network systems, with clerical skills like data entry, typing, filing, copying, and email management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with computer-based inventory, material transfers, and warehousing procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on action and results.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with operating equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Possession of current or previous California OSHA Forklift Certification (recommended).
