Job Description
This role involves supporting warehouse operations for a software development company, including order processing, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and data entry, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in order processing, inventory control, and material handling activities using warehouse equipment.
- Prepare and apply labels and documentation to shipments and pallets.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Assemble products or materials based on instructions and drawings.
- Pick and pack materials according to transfer orders.
- Conduct cycle counts, report metrics, and ensure compliance.
- Perform data entry and transactional record keeping in warehouse systems using software like SAP and SharePoint.
Requirements
- One year of related experience in warehouse operations or a similar field.
- Computer experience able to effectively use email, scanner, and network systems.
- Clerical skills to include data entry, typing, filing, copying, and email.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and with others as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Action and results oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
