Job Description
This role involves supporting warehouse operations such as order processing, inventory control, material handling, and shipping in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various equipment and software systems to ensure efficient product movement and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product operations including order processing, inventory control, and material handling
- Prepare and apply warehouse, shipping, and other labels and documentation
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Assemble products or materials based on instructions and drawings
- Pick and pack materials, components, and items according to transfer orders
- Conduct cycle counts, report metrics, and ensure compliance
- Perform data entry and transactional record keeping in computer systems and databases
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related experience in warehouse operations or similar roles
- Computer experience able to effectively use email, scanner, and network systems
- Clerical skills to include data entry, typing, filing, copying, and email
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and with others as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Action and results oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
