Job Description
The Lead Business Development Manager at Esri collaborates with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geographic information system technology within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry, driving strategic growth, building long-term relationships, and delivering technical and business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology adoption.
- Identify new markets, business partners, and opportunities within the AEC industry.
- Develop and implement strategic growth and business plans for the region.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with division leadership, customers, and distributors.
- Drive strategic initiatives by coordinating resources across Esri and distributors to achieve corporate goals.
- Anticipate industry trends and apply knowledge to customer and distributor engagements.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Esri offerings in the AEC market and communicate their value.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer s needs
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel
- Expert in negotiation and strategic engagements
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements
- Detail oriented, with the ability to manage large amounts of information and nuances within an organization
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed, verbal and written
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the AEC industry, as they relate to one another
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business, engineering or a related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)
