Job Description
This role involves managing and developing relationships with electric gas utilities customers, leveraging GIS technology to create innovative solutions, and driving sales growth through strategic account management and industry expertise, all within a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
- Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
- Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to demonstrate industry knowledge
- Understand customer needs, stakeholders, and decision-making processes
- Articulate the value of Esri technology related to electric gas utilities
- Conduct research and pursue professional development to stay competitive
- Support visual storytelling through whiteboarding and presentations
- Manage account strategies and sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to execute account plans
- Lead and mentor team members in account management and sales activities
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
- Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of electric gas utilities and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and electric gas utilities as they relate to one another.
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
