Job Description
This internship offers hands-on experience in GIS software development, where interns work on real projects, contribute to improving ArcGIS products, and learn from experienced team members in a full-time, paid environment.
Responsibilities
- •Contribute to real projects and collaborate with team members
- •Research methods to improve software or solve new problems
- •Design, test, and document new functionality in ArcGIS products
- •Develop use cases demonstrating the value of spatial analysis
- •Create educational content explaining how to use ArcGIS
Requirements
- •Be a current undergraduate or graduate student who is graduating this semester or will be returning to school in the fall.
- •Have basic knowledge of GIS and remote sensing.
- •Possess excellent test engineering and problem-solving skills.
- •Have strong development skills using Java, C++, or Python.
- •Have the desire and ability to learn new skills and contribute to producing quality commercial software.
