Job Description
The Water Industry Specialist at Esri is a subject matter expert who promotes GIS and location analytics solutions within the water resources and related industries through content creation, community engagement, and strategic marketing efforts to drive industry growth and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in GIS applications within the water industry.
- Develop and execute content such as webinars, customer stories, white papers, blogs, and social media to raise industry visibility.
- Support industry-focused events including conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and user group meetings.
- Foster community growth on social media and online collaboration platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and partner teams to deliver impactful campaigns and strategies.
- Research industry trends and competitive landscape to inform positioning and growth strategies.
- Support internal and external stakeholders through presentations, guidance, and technical collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in water resources, hydraulic modeling, data analysis, or engineering.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the water resources, environmental, or architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, or a related field.

Base salary range of $87,360 to $139,360 USD
