Job Description
This role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns within the National Mapping and Charting industry, leveraging GIS expertise to promote products, engage industry communities, and support sales and strategic positioning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and report on factors affecting the National Mapping and Charting markets
- Create, manage, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns and generate leads
- Track and evaluate campaign progress, adjusting activities as needed
- Develop and maintain a user community through various communication channels
- Provide industry expertise and product demonstrations to support press, analyst briefings, and customer meetings
- Research, evaluate, and lead efforts on strategic industry positioning within the National Mapping and Charting domain
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the National Mapping and Charting industry.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the National Mapping and Charting domains.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, and able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, GIS, geography, or a related field.
