Job Description
The role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns for the National Mapping and Charting industry, conducting industry research, collaborating with internal teams, and engaging with the user community to promote GIS solutions and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and report on factors affecting the National Mapping and Charting markets
- Create, manage, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns and generate leads
- Track and evaluate campaign progress, adjusting activities as needed
- Develop and maintain industry positioning and validate industry insights with experts
- Engage with industry-specific solutions development and offer creation
- Build and sustain a user community through various communication platforms
- Provide product demonstrations and industry expertise for press, analysts, partners, and customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the National Mapping and Charting industry.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the National Mapping and Charting domains.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, and able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, GIS, geography, or a related field.
