Job Description
This role involves leveraging industry experience in the Electric Gas Energy Utility sector to develop and execute marketing campaigns, create industry-specific content, and support community engagement to promote Esri's GIS solutions within the energy utility market.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and report on factors affecting the Energy Utility market
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, execute, and measure marketing plans
- Assist Industry Managers in engaging with marketing, sales, and partner teams to deliver campaign tactics
- Create and support content such as webinars, success stories, eBooks, social media, and blogs to drive awareness and demand
- Plan, manage logistics, and participate in industry events like conferences and webinars
- Grow and engage the Energy Utility community on social media and Esri Community platforms
- Develop industry-specific content including presentations, StoryMaps, articles, and technical papers
- Research and evaluate strategic industry positioning and validate efforts with experts
- Provide deep GIS domain expertise to support internal requests, partner engagements, and customer meetings
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Energy Utility industry.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the Energy Utility domain.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, and able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field.
