Job Description
This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to promote GIS solutions in the education sector, particularly K-12, by creating thought leadership content, collaborating with sales teams, and advocating for geospatial technology adoption in educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute industry marketing strategies to support business objectives in the K-12 education sector
- Create thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans
- Integrate marketing and sales plans into global business development strategies to coordinate resources and execution
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry, technological, and financial trends to identify market opportunities
- Serve as an industry expert and advocate across departments and teams
- Support strategic business opportunities by working with account managers to drive adoption in key accounts
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at key education organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree in geography, education, business, or similar field
