Job Description
The role involves providing thought leadership and strategic guidance on the use of GIS and geospatial technology within the gas and pipeline industry, developing industry messaging, and collaborating with teams to promote the value of ArcGIS globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans to demonstrate the value of ArcGIS in gas and pipeline organizations.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase market penetration.
- Manage a team of industry and marketing professionals to support global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at key gas and pipeline or closely related organizations
- Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Bachelor's degree in geography or business
