Job Description
Develops and leads global go-to-market strategies for GIS solutions in the Electric Industry, acting as a thought leader to drive industry awareness, demand, and community engagement through marketing, thought leadership, and collaboration with industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies for the Electric Industry
- Represent Esri as a subject matter expert and thought leader in the Electric Industry
- Create thought leadership content such as technical papers, webinars, blogs, and customer success stories
- Develop and implement industry marketing plans to support GIS adoption in the Electric Industry
- Research and analyze industry trends, market factors, and customer requirements to identify opportunities
- Develop new business areas underserved by GIS applications within Electric Utilities
- Collaborate with product development to align solutions with industry needs
- Work with sales and partners to provide domain expertise and support for Electric Industry clients
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Esri's presence
- Build and maintain a GIS user community within the Electric or Power Industries
Requirements
- 10 years of demonstrated leadership and practical experience in the Electric or Power Industry, or related fields including management, market development, and business development
- 5 years of proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, and achieve goals through a matrix team
- Experience with GIS technology as uniquely suited to address existing and emerging industry challenges and opportunities
- In-depth knowledge of Electric Utility issues, challenges, workflows, and opportunities for improvement using GIS and its practical applications
- Membership and leadership in industry associations and societies for at least 5 years
- Experience presenting Electric initiatives to executives, managers, and influencers
- Experience publishing industry articles, blogs, books, or other thought leadership authorship
- Experience in public speaking to organizations representing the Electric Industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field

Base salary range of approximately $108,160 to $180,960 USD
