Job Description
This role involves building customer relationships, promoting Esri's geospatial technology solutions across various industries, and driving business growth through strategic account management, solution selling, and industry expertise within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)
- Ability to clearly articulate the strength and value of Esri technology as it relates to various industries
- Ability to leverage domain knowledge when working with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies
- Motivated and resourceful with the initiative to resolve issues
