Job Description

This role involves building customer relationships, promoting Esri's geospatial technology solutions across various industries, and driving business growth through strategic account management, solution selling, and industry expertise within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
  • Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)
  • Ability to clearly articulate the strength and value of Esri technology as it relates to various industries
  • Ability to leverage domain knowledge when working with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies
  • Motivated and resourceful with the initiative to resolve issues
