Job Description
The Financial Analyst position involves analyzing business results, providing insights into key initiatives, and collaborating with various departments within Finance and Accounting. The role requires developing financial models, preparing executive reports, and facilitating communication across management levels to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish frameworks to evaluate key initiatives and their efficacy
- Develop and enhance financial models for reporting, reviewing results, and forecasting
- Prepare and present analyses, findings, and executive reports
- Extract data from various databases and perform sophisticated analysis
- Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering
- Collaborate with budget owners to coordinate annual plan and forecast inputs
- Provide ad hoc financial statement modeling and in-depth analysis
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence
- Skilled at developing and presenting executive-level communications and data visualization
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display good judgment
- Ability to develop strong interdepartmental and cross-functional working relationships
- Advanced Excel skills
- Professional command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
