Job Description
The job involves working as part of Esri's national government account team to support the United States Marine Corps by optimizing the adoption of geospatial technology, building customer relationships, and implementing strategies for business growth. The role requires a strong understanding of GIS, account management, and the federal government industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities.
- Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- Identify key stakeholders and understand customer budgeting processes.
- Articulate the value of Esri technology related to USMC Command and Control.
- Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities.
- Support visual storytelling and propose customer solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
- 5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- US citizenship and ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the federal government industry, USMC Mission Command C2 community, and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and US Defense as they relate to one another.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
