Job Description

The position involves leveraging geospatial technology to support federal government clients, focusing on account management, business development, and strategy implementation to enhance customer success and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities for new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
  • Identify key stakeholders and understand customer budgeting processes.
  • Use solution selling skills to address customer needs and challenges.
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology for federal government work.
  • Conduct research to anticipate customer needs and trends.
  • Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities.
  • Support visual storytelling and propose customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to define and execute account strategies.

Requirements

  • 5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in or supporting the federal government.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, public policy, or a related field.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the federal government industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.
