Job Description
This position involves managing and overseeing security operations at Esri's DC Regional Office, ensuring compliance with government regulations, conducting security assessments, supporting personnel security programs, and maintaining facility and information security for DoD and Intelligence Community programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day security operations of the Industrial Security program in compliance with government regulations
- Support collateral level DoD programs and special access programs for government agencies
- Collaborate with management and government counterparts to make security decisions and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct security self-inspections, support government assessments, and implement security measures
- Develop, maintain, and update security policies and procedures according to regulations and contract requirements
- Maintain facility clearance status and manage program and personnel documentation
- Manage physical security of multiple facilities in compliance with DCSA and ICD 705 requirements
- Administer personnel security and security clearance processes for employees, subcontractors, and consultants
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience supporting similar responsibilities in a security operations position, including supporting special access and industrial security operations for the US DoD or US Intelligence Community.
- Professional experience conducting security self-inspections, applying risk mitigation methodologies, supporting government customer assessments, and implementing security measures to meet government and company requirements.
- Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) and as a Certified Security Specialist Officer (CSSO) or Certified Professional Security Officer (CPSO).
- Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs, associated Executive Orders, and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).
- Significant experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), SWFT, eQIP, and eAPP.
- Knowledge of OPSEC procedures and the application of OPSEC to Sensitive Government information such as FOUO and CUI.
- U.S. citizenship and the willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and update company policies and procedures according to 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, DD254s, and contract requirements.
- Ability to maintain facility clearance status in NISS and work with DCSA on required program and personnel documentation such as KMP, self-inspections, SEAD 3 Reporting, etc.
- Ability to support the physical security of multiple local facilities in compliance with DCSA and ICD 705 requirements.
- Ability to assist with the Personnel Security program and administer security clearances and access processes for new and existing employees, subcontractors, and consultants.
