Job Description

In this position, you will play a critical role in conducting security operations at an Esri secure facility in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD series), and other government contract requirements and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day security operations for IC, Defense, and other customer-directed security programs
  • Interpret and apply applicable government, customer, contract, and company security requirements to program operations
  • Support program access, indoctrinations, debriefings, visit certifications, document control, foreign travel requirements, and customer-specific security processes
  • Prepare, maintain, and update SOPs, security plans, local instructions, training materials, logs, trackers, and assessment-ready records
  • Support secure facility operations
  • Maintain secure workspace integrity through access controls, IDS/alarm procedures, visitor controls, escort procedures, inspections, lock and combination management, and local operating procedures
  • Support facility certifications, accreditations, reaccreditations, co-use or joint-use agreements, and customer-directed facility documentation
  • Establish and maintain classified material control procedures, including receipt, marking, storage, transmission, destruction, accountability, inventory, couriering, and disposition
  • Manage or support classified visits, visit certifications, access validations, hosting requirements, meeting controls, and related documentation
  • Conduct, support, and document self-inspections, customer assessments, readiness reviews, corrective actions, and continuous compliance improvement
  • Receive, document, route, and follow up on reportable information, personnel changes, adverse information, foreign travel information, security incidents, and other required notifications
  • Coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, prime contractors, and internal program teams to ensure program security requirements are understood and met
  • Partner with Information System Security stakeholders to align physical, procedural, personnel, and system access controls for regulated or accredited systems
  • Support proposals, project planning, and program execution by identifying security requirements, risks, dependencies, and support needs early
  • Promote communication across the Industrial Security team, Esri personnel, subcontractors, and government agency personnel
  • Demonstrate a commitment to secure mission enablement, customer readiness, and compliant program execution

Requirements

  • Professional experience executing industrial security responsibilities in a cleared contractor environment
  • Professional experience supporting IC, Defense, or other customer-directed security programs
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, Security Executive Agent Directives, DD254s, and other applicable government security requirements
  • Experience supporting SCIFs, Open Storage Areas, restricted areas, or equivalent secure operating environments
  • Experience with personnel security and access administration, including clearance processing, access nominations, indoctrinations, debriefings, visit requests, foreign travel, and reporting obligations
  • Experience using applicable security systems or customer systems such as DISS, NBIS, SWFT, or equivalent tools
  • Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, security plans, local procedures, training materials, and assessment-ready records
  • Ability to conduct or support self-inspections, customer assessments, corrective action tracking, and continuous compliance readiness
  • Strong professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with government customers, internal program teams, and other company partners
  • Demonstrated discretion, judgment, and professionalism in handling classified, sensitive, personnel, and reportable information
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing security demands, and make sound recommendations in high-stakes situations
  • Ability and willingness to flex across programs, sites, customers, and priorities as business needs evolve
  • Possess and maintain required clearance and access for assigned programs, which may include active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and customer-required polygraph, depending on role scope and location
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, information systems, security management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Prior experience as a CPSO, CSSO, AFSO, FSO, SCI security representative, or equivalent industrial security role
  • Experience supporting multiple government customers, Intelligence Community customers, or programs with customer-specific overlays
  • Experience with SCIF accreditation, ICD 705 and TEMPEST requirements
  • Experience with OPSEC, insider threat, counterintelligence awareness, or SEAD 3 reporting
  • Experience partnering with Information System Security stakeholders on system security requirements
  • Experience supporting proposals, DD254 reviews, contract security planning, subcontractor security coordination, or customer security requirement interpretation
  • Relevant professional development or memberships, such as CDSE training, NCMS, ISWG, or equivalent security community involvement
  • Master’s degree in criminal justice, security management, intelligence studies, business administration, information systems, or a related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
