Job Description
A Software Engineer specializing in C development to create high-performance, cross-platform spatial analysis and visualization tools using advanced GPGPU technologies for GIS applications. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing software components for mobile and desktop environments within an innovative, agile team.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve complex spatial and mathematical problems innovatively
- Design and develop high-quality software components following industry standards
- Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation and modularization
- Collaborate effectively with other software development teams in an agile environment
- Identify, analyze, and fix bugs and performance issues
Requirements
- Two years of software development experience
- Fluent in and passionate about modern C (C11, C14, C17, C20)
- Knowledge of high performance or parallel algorithms
- Strong mathematical reasoning skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Existing work authorization for United Kingdom
