Job Description
A Software Engineer role focused on developing high-performance, cross-platform spatial analysis and visualization software using modern C and GPGPU technologies, primarily for GIS applications. The position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing complex algorithms and components within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve complex spatial and mathematical problems innovatively
- Design and develop high-quality software components following industry standards
- Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation and modularization
- Collaborate effectively with other software development teams in an agile environment
- Identify, analyze, and fix bugs and performance issues
Requirements
- Two years of software development experience
- Fluent in and passionate about modern C (C11, C14, C17, C20)
- Knowledge of high performance or parallel algorithms
- Strong mathematical reasoning skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Existing work authorization for United Kingdom
