Job Description
A backend engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining geospatial data processing services and integrations within ArcGIS Data Pipelines, supporting diverse data workloads and ensuring system reliability at a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own services supporting geospatial data processing and user experiences
- Create and maintain connectors to integrate data from various sources
- Develop systems that operate across multiple environments, including cloud and on-premises
- Improve system reliability and performance through API design, testing, and observability
- Collaborate with team members to define requirements, make design decisions, and implement solutions
Requirements
- 2 years of industry experience as a software engineer, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C
- Solid fundamentals in API design, software design, and system design
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Base salary range of $97,760 - $163,280 USD
