Job Description
An application developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining self-service support applications using Python and AI technologies to enhance customer support experiences at Esri.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Python, integrating AI components such as LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation
- Collaborate on designing and developing AI agents to automate workflows and improve customer support
- Conduct testing to ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance
- Document and communicate application design and functionality
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment
Requirements
- One year of experience in software development, preferably with Python.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) languages and working with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $68,640 - $107,120 USD
Work schedule: Minimum of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the year
