Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the credit and collections team, ensuring accurate payment processing, maintaining AR procedures, and supporting system implementations, while meeting departmental goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor the Accounts Receivable team to meet goals and deadlines
- Collect payments against assigned accounts, including domestic and international accounts
- Review and update Accounts Receivable procedures
- Review and process credit applications
- Support and assist with AR system implementations, including design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Provide performance reporting and metrics to management
- Assist with month-end close tasks related to Accounts Receivable
Requirements
- Five years of progressive Accounts Receivable (AR) experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of AR systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
