Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the credit and collections team, ensuring accurate payment processing, implementing AR procedures, and supporting month-end closing activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor the accounts receivable team to meet goals and deadlines
- Collect payments against assigned accounts, including domestic and international accounts
- Review and process credit applications
- Maintain and update accounts receivable procedures
- Support system implementations, including design, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting
- Provide performance reports and metrics to management
- Assist with month-end close tasks related to accounts receivable
Requirements
- Five years of progressive Accounts Receivable (AR) experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
