Job Description
This role involves supporting the finance and accounting team by processing accounts payable transactions, reviewing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining accurate records, requiring strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
- Perform 3-way purchase order matching in SAP ERP system
- Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards, and identify discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
Requirements
- One year of experience in accounting support
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers across phone, email, and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to use a variety of online systems
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
