Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and account management skills to build relationships with state government clients, identify their needs, and promote Esri's GIS solutions to support their missions and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a pipeline of business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology and solutions to state governments.
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies.
- Conduct research and professional development to stay informed on trends and customer needs.
- Present solutions through visual storytelling and support customer decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
