Job Description
This role involves managing and growing relationships with state government clients by applying geospatial technology solutions, understanding their needs, and driving adoption of Esri's GIS products through strategic account management and consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology related to state government applications
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with team members to define and implement account strategies
- Conduct research and professional development to stay informed on customer needs and industry trends
- Use solution selling and visual storytelling techniques to propose appropriate GIS solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Estimated base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
