Job Description
The job involves working as part of Esri's Infrastructure account team to develop and implement geospatial technology strategies for electric, gas, telecom, and rail customers. The role focuses on building customer relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that enhance their operations using Esri technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities for customers.
- Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- Identify key stakeholders and understand customer budgeting processes.
- Articulate the value of Esri technology related to Infrastructure.
- Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
- 3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
