Job Description
This role involves building relationships with educational organizations to promote and implement Esri's geospatial technology solutions, managing account strategies, and driving growth through sales and consulting efforts within the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology in education and communicate solutions
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to define and implement account strategies
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote solutions
Requirements
- Two years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of higher education and K12 new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
