Job Description

A sales and account management role focused on promoting Esri's geospatial technology solutions to commercial industries such as Hi-Tech, Media, Entertainment, Consumer Goods, and Financial Services, by building relationships, understanding customer needs, and driving business growth through strategic consulting and solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry relevance, and key stakeholders
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and articulate the value of Esri technology
  • Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities
  • Collaborate with teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
  • Research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs and industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
