Job Description
The role involves leveraging geospatial technology to support the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries by building customer relationships, implementing location strategies, and driving business growth through account management and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities for customers.
- Participate and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
- Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- Identify key stakeholders and understand customer budgeting processes.
- Articulate the value of Esri technology in the AEC industry.
- Conduct research to anticipate customer needs and trends.
- Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities.
- Use visual storytelling techniques to propose customer solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
- 3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the AEC industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
