Job Description
The role involves leveraging geospatial technology to support Esri's Global Business Development team by building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing location strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize the adoption of Esri technology and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities.
- Leverage social media to build a professional network.
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
- Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for organizations.
- Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
- Use solution selling skills to address customer needs.
- Articulate the strength and value of Esri technology.
- Conduct research and pursue professional development.
- Execute account management and sales processes.
- Support visual storytelling and propose customer solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
- 1 year of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another.
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
