Job Description
The Fire Protection Engineer will evaluate and design fire protection and life safety systems for new construction, renovations, and existing facilities, supporting a U.S. Navy client with facility design from concept through construction in a full-time onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and design fire protection and life safety systems for new construction, renovations, and existing facilities.
- Support facility design efforts from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
- Support the development of fire protection strategies for industrial and administrative facilities.
Requirements
- The candidate must have facility design experience to support a U.S. Navy client, specifically involving evaluating and designing fire protection and life safety systems for new construction, renovations, and existing industrial and administrative facilities.
- The candidate must be well-versed in applicable codes related to fire protection and life safety systems.
- The candidate must have hands-on experience supporting facility design efforts from concept through construction.
- This is a full-time onsite position at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head, MD.
