Job Description
The Facilities Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians in transportation, vehicle operations, groundskeeping, and facilities maintenance activities at the Naval Support Facility in Indian Head, Maryland, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of the facility's grounds and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in transportation and vehicle operations at the Naval Support Facility.
- Coordinate moving cars, trucks, trailers, and containers to support facility and vehicle maintenance.
- Supervise groundskeeping activities and facilities maintenance operations.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading a team of technicians in transportation and vehicle operations, including moving cars, trucks, trailers, and containers, to support facility and vehicle maintenance operations.
- Ability to supervise groundskeeping and facilities maintenance activities, with the role expanding to include these responsibilities over time.
