The Rail Load Out Operator is responsible for safely loading rail cars and trucks, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and supporting operational efficiency in a renewable energy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load rail cars and trucks according to schedule
Operate loaders and railcar movers safely
Perform and document equipment inspections and maintenance
Analyze equipment performance and make adjustments to optimize throughput and quality
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Maintain operational records and ensure accurate reporting
Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping activities
Escalate issues promptly for resolution
Serve as a backup resource for operational duties
Requirements
Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions.
Proficient in mathematics and measurement.
Team player demonstrated with past work experience or activities.
Ability to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations.
Ability to certify in the safe operation of locomotives, loaders or track-mobiles.
