Job Description
The Enviva team is driven by our shared vision for a renewable energy future.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate approved requisitions for accuracy and potential cost savings.
Execute approved purchase orders and distribute to approved vendors.
Maintain vendor database utilizing current vendors and only adding vendors with added value to the organization.
Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance with the organizations terms and conditions.
Focus on consolidating vendors by developing synergies with other sites within the organization to achieve optimum cost savings.
Support and implement Procurement leadership cost saving initiatives.
Measure and hold suppliers accountable for performance as measured in supplier scorecards.
Manage on-site vendors to ensure all procedures are followed.
Coordinate with accounting to ensure pricing/invoicing accuracy.
Assists receiving with delivery discrepancies.
Support continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Establish and implement procedures to ensure organization and effectiveness of the stockroom.
Evaluate and determine proper inventory levels for the stockroom.
Effectively communicate potential supply disruptions throughout the organization.
Promote safety initiatives and enforce the organization’s safety policies.
Execute Enviva’s OEMS System, Gembas , Coaching, Visual Administration, 5’s, Material Strategy, Root Cause Analysis, Material and information flow , 7 wastes, VA and NVA activities, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Communication.
Requirements
Professional career on engineering, business or related - Desirable
Strong Background on Commercial Negotiations.
Stockroom management experience required .
Professional Level of experience in the manufacturing industry is required .
Basic knowledge on MRP.
3 to 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Materials Management areas.
Primarily office-based with periodic visits to manufacturing facilities and warehouses.
Ability to travel occasionally to supplier locations and company facilities.
Ability to safely enter industrial environments while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
