Job Description
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure maximum plant availability, safety, and efficiency in a sustainable wood bioenergy facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and develop detailed work orders for repairs, alterations, and preventive maintenance, including labor, materials, tools, and procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, review work orders with personnel, and ensure safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout are followed.
- Manage and ensure the availability of materials, parts, and tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Serve as the site subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 EAM CMMS and maintain related data and documentation.
- Monitor non-scheduled work for corrective actions through preventive maintenance or routine inspections.
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and communication of downtime and non-downtime activities.
- Generate reports and compile data to monitor maintenance performance and department goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of two 2 years experience in maintenance-related applications.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- In-depth knowledge of station systems and processes in both operations and maintenance areas.
- Must thoroughly understand process controls and computer systems, including hardware and software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills oral and written are required, in addition to sound motivational, teamwork and leadership qualities.
