The position involves leading maintenance operations at a renewable energy plant, focusing on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through team leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations at the site
Develop and implement maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and operating costs
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet production targets and quality standards
Provide technical expertise to improve equipment reliability and increase MTBF
Coordinate training for maintenance staff, operators, and team leaders
Support TPM pillars to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Manage spare parts inventories and maintenance processes for equipment reliability
Implement improvements during equipment changes, including root cause analysis and risk assessment
Maintain an integrated maintenance master plan aligned with business goals
Coordinate support services such as machining, welding, electrical, and contracted services
Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, quality, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or related discipline, with 7 years of supervisory experience delivering reliability improvements in a fast changing manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and certifications.
Experience managing maintenance teams and supporting autonomous manufacturing teams as they deliver continuous improvements.
Experience with TPM Total Productive Maintenance Pillars - Autonomous and Effective Maintenance in a process environment is preferred.
Must have applied working knowledge of time, condition, and predictive based maintenance processes.
Must have experience managing Preventative Maintenance (P.M.) practices.
Proven track record coaching, mentoring, motivating, and managing employees' skills development.
Demonstrated experience proactively leading and coaching teams to solve problems, utilizing automatic line monitoring and other reliability improvement processes.
Experience setting business targets to drive and sustain continuous loss reductions is required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn other applications related to the job.
