Job Description

Requirements

• An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Forestry, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Natural Resources, or a related field • At least one (1) year of experience in forestry, inventory management, supply chain, procurement, operations, logistics, or a related field • Drone pilot’s license or demonstrated capabilities to become certified for drone operation • Working knowledge of forestry, logging best practices, and sustainability certification schemes • Willingness to travel to and operate in remote outdoor environments • A valid driver’s license and vehicle • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining supplier relationships • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel • Enterprise focus – Be a catalyst to drive enterprise-based decision making in the procurement area • Humble – quick to point out the contributions of others, slow to seek personal attention, shares credit, emphasizes team over self and defines success collectively rather than individually • Hungry – Self-motivated and diligent, constantly thinking about the next step and the next opportunity to help the team succeed, willing to step outside of area of direct responsibility to get the job done, focuses on achieving results / outcomes • People Smart – Interpersonally appropriate and aware – demonstrate good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of words and actions • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Forestry, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Natural Resources, or a related field. • Two to four years of experience in forestry, fiber procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or a related industry. • Experience with inventory forecasting, reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence tools. • Experience operating drones and/or conducting drone-based inventory analysis. • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day • Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery • Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs. • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position is not eligible for visa support.
